EVPN-VXLAN with Huawei CloudEngine: a practical guide

In this article we go through the configuration of an EVPN-VXLAN fabric on Huawei CloudEngine CE6863 switches, with an ISIS underlay, BGP ECMP and M-LAG for DCI (Data Center Interconnect) environments.

Architecture

The design uses a leaf-spine topology with two CE6863 switches configured in M-LAG, ISIS as the underlay protocol and MP-BGP EVPN for the control plane of the VXLAN overlay.
